His journey began at a young age, when his time spent in Boy Scouts taught him essential skills in problem-solving and craftsmanship, which he has since applied to his career.

How We Began

Back in 2011, I got a call from a local lighting gallery. They had heard I ran a home repair business and could fix lamps—something that wasn’t easy to find in our area. The only local lamp repair specialist had retired a few years earlier, and they were struggling to find someone reliable to refer their clients to

After talking with them, I agreed to become their go-to lamp repair person, filling a gap in the community. Lamp repair may be a tiny niche market, but it’s one that people really need, especially in a world where quality craftsmanship is getting harder to find. Since then, we’ve grown significantly. Today, we’re referred by over 30 lighting stores, interior design studios, and antique shops. We’ve served more than 10,000 customers—some from as far as 500 miles away, though most are local to our area in Alabama.
